With strict regulations and OHS guidelines demanding when, where and how safety signs are displayed and penalties for failing to comply, you need the right safety signs to prevent injury. Signs are all made according to NOSA and SABS specifications and standards.

These symbolic safety indicators consist of a white square-shaped sign adorned with a red pictogram, encompassed by a red border. Notably, these signs are utilized to mark the location of fire hoses and hydrants.

The size of the pictogram on these signs ranges from 75% to 90% of the corresponding dimensions of the backing sheet, which can be either Chromadek Steel or ABS Plastic and a vinyl sticker if the surface permits.

The SABS has officially sanctioned specific sizes for these safety signs, namely 150x150mm, 190x190mm, 290x290mm, 440x440mm, and 880x880mm. However, due to economic considerations, the industry predominantly employs printing sizes starting from 190x190mm and above, as the 150x150mm size is deemed impractical.
